Jane Zhang e JJ Lin: il duetto a Sound of My Dream 2

Sound of My Dream 2, episodio 3

17 Novembre 2017, terzo episodio di Sound of My Dream 2, tante le aspettative che il pubblico nutre dal nuovo coach del talent-show musicale, Jane Zhang, e lei, come al solito, non tradisce mai le attese del suo pubblico.

Li Ronghao

Il coach misterioso di questa terza puntata è Li Ronghao (李榮浩), cantautore originario di Bengbu (蚌埠) nella provincia di Anhui (安徽), molto noto al pubblico e vincitore nel 2013 di un Golden Melody Award nella categoria “Best New Singer”.

Li Ronghao, volto noto anche ai fan d’oltreoceano di Jane Zhang per aver partecipato insieme a Jane, nel 2015, alla terza stagione del fortunato programma televisivo “I’Am a Singer”, è anche un musicista (chitarra, pianoforte) e produttore discografico. Il suo primo album registrato in studio, dal titolo “Model” (“Mo Te”) uscì nel settembre 2013 con etichetta Universal Music ed ebbe una nomination nella categoria “Best Mandarin Album” ai Golden Melody Awards 2014.

La mia metà

Il singolo n. 5 tratto da quest’album viene ripreso, ri-arrangiato da Jane e portato sul palco di Sound of My Dream 2 per questa puntata. Il titolo è Lao Ban (老伴) che in cinese vuol dire “La mia metà“. Il brano è una struggente canzone d’amore dedicata ad un compagno/a di vita. Jane la interpreta accompagnata al pianoforte da Cui Di (造音崔迪), musicista, compositrice e produttrice, grande amica della Dolphin Princess.

Wang Fei

Questa puntata ci offre però anche una meravigliosa sorpresa. Jane, oltre che alla sua esibizione, collabora a quella di JJ Lin (林俊杰), coach storico del format, facendo da accompagnamento canoro per il brano “Fleet of Time” (匆匆那年) portato al successo da Faye Wong (王菲) come theme song per l’omonimo film del 2014 diretto da Zhang Yibai (張一白).

Faye Wong, questo il suo nome cantonese, conosciuta in occidente anche come Wang Fei è un’attrice e cantante pop/rock cinese nata a Pechino nel 1969 con al suo attivo una ventina di album, 6 film per il grande schermo ed alcune serie televisive. Per il film “Hong Kong Express“, anche noto come “Chungking Express“, vinse nel 1994 il premio di Miglior Attrice al Festival del cinema di Stoccolma.

Jane Zhang e JJ Lin: il duetto !

Il contributo apportato da Jane all’interpretazione di JJ Lin è significativo. Dopo la prima parte della canzone, a circa 2:14 del filmato, Jane compare sul palco tenendosi alcuni metri dietro JJ Lin ed intona una meravigliosa voce da coro che si fonde con la voce magnetica di JJ Lin, quello che è risulta è una gioia per le orecchie.

Come sottolineato dal presentatore, è la prima volta che due coach di Sound of My Dream si esibiscono insieme sul palco ed a tal proposito Jane dice di essere molto contenta per questa possibilità e spera che il pubblico si sia emozionato tanto quanto lei.

Un gran plauso va fatto all’arrangiamento, alla magnifica orchestra che ogni puntata accompagna dal vivo tutti i cantanti ed al coro. Qui la versione Pure Sound Premium del brano di JJ Lin e Jane Zhang.
